I expected the black color to match the standard handle, but it looks more like a shiny black metal. This is consistent with their other updates. The allen wrench included in the box appears to have marks on the side of it when shipped. But it's not your fault.

What a difference it makes in my Glock 42. With the original Glock Mags, I couldn't get a full grip. Installing the +2 mag extension in black gave me the perfect idea. The gun is much more comfortable in the hand. The gun controls are also much better and they look great.
Excellent product. However, you should re-watch the video that shows you how to install the extension. After cutting the labels. Place the extension plate on the table, then lower the plastic part so that the button is in the hole. Depress the magnetic spring and start pushing the thread onto the base plate. It immediately falls into place. I tried several times as shown in the video, but the extra plate kept falling into the magazine and could not be separated. I had parts flying all over the place. Then I did it my way. Fast, simple, no flying parts and no problems with the plate.

Searched and these mag extensions are the best. Bigger, stronger and allows for a full G42 grip. Without one of them, the weapon is useless.
I wish they were more colorful, but the aluminum base looks and feels great when wrapped around it.
I put +1 of these on my G42 and I like the way the pistol grips with the pink extension. A big improvement. It doesn't stop me from carrying around my pocket using the DeSantis Pocket Pocket. This is a very good product, IMO. Thank you for that
